Garden Tour: Gardens of The Netherlands including the World Renowned Floriada World Horticultural Expo

  • David Whiting (CMG Coordinator) with his side kick Jeffry de Jong (manager, Abkhazi Gardens) are on the road again leading a great garden tour to see the gardens of The Netherlands, including Floriada. Being Dutch, Jeff is really excited about going to his homeland!
  • Held only once every ten year, Floriada, the World Horticultural Exhibition, is the leading showcase for Dutch horticulture with over 100 exhibitors pay tribute to horticulture. Covering a vast area of specialty landscaped woodland near Venlo in the province of North Limburg, Floriade 2012 comprises five separate areas linked by a tree lined avenue. Each area has its own theme which is described in detail in the tour itinerary.
  • In addition to Floriade, we will tour spectacular private and public gardens, including the world famous Keukenhof, the bulb grower's magnificent display of different tulips, daffodil, and hyacinth varieties where over 7 million bulbs are planted annually.
  • For additional information, contact Mary at Hidden Treasures Botanical Tours.
  • Tour dates April 20-29, 2012, (depart USA on April 19th).
