Education for CMG Volunteers


  • Basic training for CMG volunteers is provided by a multi-county partnership with Denver, Jefferson and Broomfield Counties in January through March.

  • Denver County Extension offers CMG volunteers a variety of continuing education opportunities.
  • Monthly meetings of the Denver Master Gardener Association offer CMG volunteers a regular opportunity to hear speakers on a variety of topics.
  • Special continuing education programs are presented on different topics ever year.
  • Learning tours to look at plants and gardens are organized both in Denver and out of town.
  • Multi-county and regional educational opportunities include CMG Plus Classes, ProGreen, CSU Short Course and CSU Field Days.
